Hajj Badal is when someone gets a compulsory Hajj performed on his or her behalf by another person. Hajj Badal may be performed for another due to an ongoing illness for which there is no hope of a cure, or because of old age and the like. If there is the hope of recovery from a sickness, then the person should wait until Allah heals him or her and then perform Hajj on their own.
Please note that in order to have Hajj Badal done on behalf of a living person, permission must be given from the person him or herself.
After the Hajj is completed, we will then send you a certificate with the name of the person who performed the Hajj Badal and a certified stamp provided by an imam in Saudi Arabia. This is to give you written proof and assurance that the Hajj Badal has been successfully completed.

Hadith Regarding Hajj Badal:
It was reported from Ibn ‘Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a woman from Juhaynah came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: “My mother vowed to go for Hajj, but she did not go for Hajj before she died. Should I do Hajj on her behalf?” He said, “Yes, do Hajj on her behalf. Do you not think that if your mother was in debt you would pay it off for her? Pay off the debt that is owed to Allah, for Allah is more deserving that what is owed to Him should be paid off.” (Narrated by al-Bukhari, 1754)
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) heard a man saying “Labbayka ‘an Shubrumah (At your service, O Allaah, on behalf of Shubrumah).” The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Who is Shubrumah?” He said, “A relative of mine.” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Have you ever done Hajj before?” He said, “No.” he said, “Do this Hajj for yourself, then do Hajj on behalf of Shubrumah.” (Narrated by Abu Dawood, 1811; Ibn Majah, 2903 – this version was narrated by him. The hadeeth was classed as saheeh by Shaykh al-Albani in Irwaa Al-Ghaleel, 4/171).

- The appointed person who performs Hajj Badal should perform the type of Hajj according to the desire of the person who sent them (Hajj Al-Tamattu, Hajj Al-Qiran).

We used HajjByUs to perform hajj on behalf of a close family friend who had recently passed away in a car accident. His intention was to go on hajj with us this year but unfortunately Allah took his soul away before he could fulfill his 5th pillar of Islam. The company we booked with for hajj told us about HajjByUs and we went ahead with them without any questions. The best thing was that on the day of Arafa we met up with the HajjByUs team alhamdullillah to make sure and take any doubts away from our hearts. I would highly recommend hajjbyus and will most likely be using them again and again for my other family members who unfortunately passed away before they could complete hajj. –Nadia Chowdari - UK
I know one of the brothers personally involved in this beautiful project and I have no doubts at all in what they promise. I used HajjbyUs to perform hajj badal for my grandmother and when my mother received the certificate she was so happy that it brought tears in her eyes. Alhamdullillah.–Azizur R. - London, UK
I have used HajjByUs to perform hajj on behalf of SIX of my family members. The team has been great and what won my trust is the sincerity of the brothers involved. They replied back to every single email of mine promptly and I could feel the sincerity and the passion in helping for this cause. All I can say is Jazakallahu Khairan katheeran wa barakallahu feekum.–Ouissam B - Woippy, France
At first I was a bit unsure about HajjByUs but after speaking to the team I felt extremely comfortable. I didn't want the whispers of shaitaan to change my intentions so I put my trust in Allah and went ahead with HajjByUs after speaking to them many many times. I can say one thing without a doubt… Is that the brothers are very sincere and they are helping with a unique cause which I personally feel is extremely needed. May Allah reward everyone involved and accept it from us all. Ameen. –Nabaviya Cassim - Victoria, Australia
Both my parents passed away without completing their hajj and they were in the position to do hajj. The worldly things kept them busy and Allah took their soul before they had fulfilled their 5th pillar of islam. Thank you for helping me with this amanah. May Allah reward you all immensely and accept it. Ameen.–A. Choudhry - Ontario, Canada

MashAllah Hajjbyus was a seamless process. I was so pleased to find such a noble cause, especially when you want to have hajj or umrah performed on behalf of a deceased loved one. They are very professional and have had the best adab in every communication. The hajj certificate came in the mail as promised and it was beautiful. I look forward to using their services again inshaAllah. May Allah(swt) increase them.–H.Shaikh
